Terms & Conditions
By accessing our website or participating in our activities, you agree to the following terms:
1. Events
Event-specific terms and conditions (including cancellation policies, photo consent, and safety guidelines) are outlined during the booking process and may vary depending on the type of event. Please read these carefully when registering.
As a non-profit organisation, most of our ticketed events are non-refundable, as funds go directly toward covering costs and supporting community activities.
If an event is cancelled by Famiglie Downunder, we will do our best to offer a credit or suitable alternative.
2. Membership
Membership with Famiglie Downunder is currently free of charge.
-
You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us directly.
-
If we ever decide to introduce a membership fee in the future, all members will be informed in advance and given the opportunity to review and accept the new terms before any charges are applied.
3. Use of content
All photos, videos, text and content on our website, social media, or event materials are the property of Famiglie Downunder unless otherwise stated. Please request permission before using or reposting them for external use.
4. Email communication
By subscribing to our mailing list or becoming a member, you agree to receive updates and event invitations via email.
You may unsubscribe at any time through the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
5. Code of conduct
We are committed to maintaining a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants — children and adults alike.
Disrespectful, unsafe, or exclusionary behaviour may result in exclusion from events or community spaces.
Acknowledgement of Country
Famiglie Downunder acknowledges the Turrbal and Jagera peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we gather in Brisbane.
We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and honour their ongoing connection to land, community, and culture.
